En Dragones, nos enorgullecemos mucho de nuestros diferentes equipos de fútbol y de la comunidad que construimos juntos. Un equipo que ha sido especialmente impresionante y exitoso tanto dentro como fuera del campo ha sido el equipo senior masculino. Este equipo comenzó en 2020 cuando algunos jugadores querían crear continuidad a los equipos de futbol base del club.

Gran parte de nuestra comunidad en Dragones está formada por refugiados o personas en situaciones de incertidumbre, y eso es lo que hace hermoso a nuestro club. Muchos de nuestros chicos que llegaron en pateras o huyendo de la guerra, querían seguir sonriendo y disfrutando del deporte, ahora el equipo tiene orgullosamente 20 jugadores extranjeros de 25 jugadores. Una ventaja importante de estar juntos en un equipo es la capacidad de brindarse apoyo mutuo con problemas como las barreras del idioma, la búsqueda de empleo y la integración. El equipo senior masculino realmente ha adoptado la capacidad de ser un sistema de apoyo mutuo, a pesar de que muchos jugadores van y vienen debido a problemas como los permisos de residencia o el trabajo. Los jugadores como Kouman, Mohamed o Diarra son excelentes ejemplos de cómo superar obstáculos difíciles, acumulando más de tres temporadas en nuestro equipo. Jugar es tan importante como pasar un buen rato mientras lo haces.

¡El equipo senior masculino no solo cuenta con un entorno comunitario impresionante, sino que también son jugadores de fútbol extremadamente talentosos! El equipo liderado por Loris (2023-); anteriormente de Luis (2021-2023) (Quien federo el equipo y establecio las bases del grupo) y Carlos (2021), el equipo tiene una química fantástica.
Este equipo senior es un ejemplo de superación e integración a traves del deporte. El año pasado, el equipo recibió numerosos actos racistas, pero los chicos se mantuvieron fuertes y aun así emergieron como ganadores y más unidos que nunca. En Dragones, los equipos son más que el fútbol, se trata de unir valores compartidos para propósitos comunes.
El grupo se integró naturalmente y no se trata solo de jugar al fútbol sino también de involucrarse con todos los chicos extranjeros y que formen verdaderamente parte del club. La fuerza del vínculo se demuestra tanto dentro como fuera del campo.
En la Temporada 2023-2024, el grupo inció sus andaduras por las Categorías del Futbol regional madrileño, dando continuidad y profesionalidad al proyecto iniciado en 2020.

At Dragones, we take a lot of pride in our different football teams and the community that we build together. One team that has been especially impressive and successful both on and off the field has been the senior men’s team. This team began only two years ago when a few players wanted to create continuity in their casual community that had already been created.

Much of our community at Dragones includes refugees or people in situations of uncertainty, and that is what makes our club beautiful. Many men had been arriving and showing interest in the club, and now the team proudly has 20 foreigners and refugees among 25 players. A major perk of being on a team together is the ability to provide support to one another with issues such as language barriers, job search, and integration. The senior men’s team has truly embraced the ability to be a support system to one another, despite many players coming and leaving because of issues like papers or work. Players Kouman, Mohamed or Diarra are prime examples of overcoming difficult odds to be a part of the team. Playing the game is equally as important as having a good time while you are doing it.

Not only does the senior men’s team boast an impressive community environment but they are also extremely talented soccer players! Thanks to the amazing leadership of our Coachs Loris (2024-), Luis (2022-2023), Carlos in (2021-2022), the team has fantastic team chemistry.

This team of senior men is resilient. Last year, there were many racist acts committed against the team but nonetheless the men stayed strong and still emerged as winners and a strong community. At Dragones, the teams are more than just the football that you play but it is about coming together with shared values for common purposes.
The group naturally became integrated and it is not only about playing soccer but also many foreign boys get involved and are truly part of the club. The strength of the bond is proven both on and off the field.
